My Experience of Textiles prior to studying on the Foundation

would like to express that Textiles has improved my ideas and given me more rational thinking when I was focusing on soft/hard materials within the paper workshop, using monochrome samples etc. I have discovered many things about Textiles and I personally loved about it. One thing that I would like to mention is that I was always interested in the style of Architecture and if you want to walk towards the path of Architecture, you sure need to discover and courtesy for other design subjects such as Textiles, Screen & Performance etc.

As a Specialist Student, I think this discipline may cross over with the 2 other Design subjects such as 3D: Product & Spatial and Design for Theatre by using the same structure create designs using sketches, physical models and so on. It is all about crafting materials and having the same ideas about the reason for function, process, critical thinking and analysis. It's always experimenting and investigating with materials and elements.
